Sävsjö Näringslivs AB – Trade and Industry in Småland

Sävsjö Municipality, located in the centre of the Southern Swedish Highlands, is rich with lakes and forests. In our region, You will find small and medium sized companies in several different branches; mostly wood and metal-industries and a unique concentration of high quality suppliers and sub-contractors.

Sävsjö Näringslivs AB (SNAB) is co-ordinator for Sävsjö trade and industry, its organisations, different public institutions and the Sävsjö Municipality. SNAB is supported by almost 200 companies as well as the Sävsjö Municipality. Together with these companies Sävsjö Näringsliv contributes to the energetic development of local trade and industry.

SNAB´s role is to promote the development of already existing trade and industry and the establishment of new trade and industry enterprises.
Sävsjö Näringsliv couples together already existing businesses, takes part in the establishment of new companies and plays a leading roll in a number of projects and arrangements.

Questions to do with internationalisation and quality, projects that deal with the development of smaller businesses, innovation and dealing with new enterprises are but a few examples.

We also work with questions concerning our immediate area and often play the part of a “sounding board” for local and regional trade and industry.

Networking and collaboration between trade and industry, the municipality and other actors has resulted in the establishment of new enterprises, the planning of future ventures and many companies, which are under development.
